• 1987

  Our company was founded by Selahattin Kalaycı in Bartın New Industrial Site as SELKO ATEŞ TUĞLA FACTORY and was producing only the insulation bricks.
  Our journey which started with 8 people and 600 tons / year of bricks, continued with the production of chamotte bricks and mortars which are used in general services as well as isolated bricks by increasing the number of employees with demands coming from within a few years.

• 1993

  SELKO ATEŞ TUĞLA started to see high demand with its high quality and reliable products in a short time and increased its product variety and capacity day by day and reached a capacity of 20 people and 1500 tons / year in a short period of time. In 1993, he became a joint stock company under the leadership of Selahattin Kalayci.

• 1993-2003

  SELKO ATEŞ TUĞLA In 1995, by establishing a physics and chemistry laboratory, both standardized product quality and started R & D studies. In addition to the old type chamber furnace in its establishment, modern Tunnel Furnace was built. In addition, the capacity of the plant has been increased by making Selahattin Kalaycı project with more powerful domestic hydraulic presses, modern and capacity mixers and crushers.
  
  With these improvements, SELKO FIRE BRICK has started to produce 6000 tons / year refractory material by employing 45 people in 2003.
  
  SELKO ATEŞ TUĞLA Certified its quality and reliable products with TSE certificate. Again in these years, it started to serve as a supplier to the leading industrial companies of our country such as İSDEMİR, KARDEMİR, ERDEMİR and ETİ Aluminum and MKE.

• 2003-2017

  SELKO ATEŞ TUĞLA had become obsolete, and since 2000, the company management has decided to build a larger-capacity factory.
  And in 2003, the modern facility in Bartın Organized Industrial Zone, which has an area of 20.000 m2, 7000 m2 of which is closed, has been acquired.
  We have continued to grow again in 2003 with our understanding of Quality, Confidence and our promise to keep our promise in front of earnings. By increasing our product range and sector diversity, we have become a preferred supplier of many organizations.
  
  In 2006, we were certified by TSE with ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

• 2018

  Today, SELKO ATEŞ TUĞLA, with more experienced and knowledgeable technical personnel, fully domestic and more powerful Press, signed by Selahattin Kalaycı, with modern machinery and equipment, modern automatic controlled tunnel furnaces, modern laboratories and 85 employees, 13000 tons / year Brick, 5000 tons / year has a total capacity of 18000 tons / year of refractory material.
